Sixteen-year-old Kyouko Mogami moved to Tokyo with her childhood friend and romantic interest, Shoutarou "Shou" Fuwa, aiming to support him as he chased his dream of becoming a top idol. However, she soon realized that Shou only viewed her as a housekeeper. Devastated, Kyouko pledged to take revenge by entering the entertainment industry herself and outshining him.
Her plan faced an early setback when she was turned down by her preferred talent agency. Luckily, the agency's president offered her a second chance by placing her in the newly established "Love Me" section. This marked the start of Kyouko's journey toward stardom, where she developed her acting skills and forged new friendships along the way.
