This is actually pretty good. The MC uses her knowledge of the plot to her advantage, but doesn't overly rely on it, as it quickly becomes clear that the world is a lot bigger than the book implies. She also struggles with the morality of her actions, and questions her own self-worth, which is a lot more realistic for a normal person fusing with a book villain than just going "yee haw let's do good now".
