    Why is THAT the thing that gets you? Machines in this setting are people as much as any other race - judging by the flashback arc going on, they probably even have souls, or the equivalent. They're crying out in sorrow and pain, trapped within their own shells as their body moves and kills under the orders of a tyrant.

    It's such a testament to the abilities of the author that I give a damn about these matchups.
    I'm even hyped for it.
