Samurai Crusader

The story revolves around Kumomaru, a Japanese samurai who journeys to Europe in the 1930s and gets entangled in a scheme to steal the legendary Japanese sword Kusanagi. While in Europe, Kumomaru forms friendships with Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso and endeavors to thwart Major General Kamishima and his Nazi allies from invading China. "Samurai Crusader" was initially published in English by VIZ Media in the monthly anthology magazine "Manga Vizion," running from issue vol.1 #1 (March 1995) to vol.3 #5 (May 1997). VIZ Media also released the title in tankoubon format from August 5, 1996, to December 6, 1997.
