A young boy named Gawain lives in a mountainous, rural area. He has an incredible love for baseball, especially for hitting the ball so it really flies. One day, he meets a visitor who introduces him to a sport that can make a ball fly even farther: golf! It takes just one shot for Gawain to become hooked. With his grandpa's approval, he sets off to Tokyo with this mysterious woman to learn all he can about golf. Along the way, he encounters many colorful characters and obstacles.
