    It's ok for him to reuse some story plots, the og manga ended in 2007, 17 years ago, 15 when this was 1st released, he has to reach both new audiences that have no idea what a Gash Bell even is, and his old audience who you can't blame for forgetting stuff, this is actually a really clever way to get anyone invested.
