Season 1
Normally I consider Manhwas as 'fantasies'. The kind of unrestrained wet dreams you have in the shower.
Tax Reaper is different, in the sense that it knows fantasies better than other Manhwas, even the magic themed ones. Jaehyeon Shin lives out the crime fighter daydream of standing up to filthy, arrogant tax evaders and step up for the common man as a civil servant and a blade of the government. Which is as dumb and inflated as it sounds. Don't get me wrong, Jaehn Shin is a good guy, but he is undeniably, the most deluded MC that I have ever followed. A guy who believes they are fighting evil as a sword of justice, and not a weirdo who takes tax evasion too seriously as he brags about how inflexible he is to bribes, connections, and threats against his life.
If you read this, my advice is to not take the Manhwa seriously, not even a little. If you think real life should be more like 'The Tax Reaper', congratulations! You have just been influenced by Korean Propaganda.
Its like it will do anything to make the bad guys win to induce FORCED tragedy but in the end you feel nothing much because its lacks a good writer....instead it just makes you angry. That forced feeling is like too much salt in a soup of many things....
