I kind of understand using the gun as a distraction. Especially for a Japanese Citizen. The amount of experience an average teen has in using a gun (with a good amount of recoil) is close to the toy gun they use during festivals. Plus have to agree with the comment above. If you have a gun and no amount of experience or confidence in hitting something. Using it as a distraction or a taunting is the best possible use of it.
