Mneh... not my style. In fact, I'd even say it's kinda dumb.
I personally don't really like people that pretend to be someone they aren't and deceive everybody, because of some arbitrary decision to "help the main characters of the world"... Even though, in reality they're more of a main character than anyone else.
Made even worse by the fact, that people genuinely believe he's like this and actually start liking him with that as a basis. But he's not and they're all being fooled. 'nay, betrayed.

surprisingly a genuinely likable MC for a kicked-out-of-my-party manga, none of that "i think i'm useless but i'm actually overpowered as hell!", guy rationally analyzes himself, understands that he was sacrificing his potential for the good of the party and that adds a well written motivation to be pissed at them
also the last page of chapter 7 is delicious
