Orochi

Orochi is a philosophical horror manga series from Japan's master of the horror genre. Each chapter presents a separate story that delves into various aspects of humanity and the human condition. The protagonist, Orochi, is an enigmatic woman with peculiar powers and a profound interest in human nature. As she journeys, she encounters individuals who captivate her so much that she becomes involved in their lives, often with unpredictable outcomes—sometimes beneficial, sometimes detrimental. Originally, "Orochi" was partially published in English as "Orochi: Blood" by VIZ Media, which released the first volume on September 5, 2002, but later dropped the license. Recently, "Orochi" has been republished by VIZ Media under the VIZ Signature imprint since March 15, 2022.
