Kaoru Sakurai, the heir to the Sakurai Japanese Dance tradition, made a promise with her childhood friend, Shihou Takaaki, to stay together forever. However, Takaaki left for England to study. After being apart for 10 years, Takaaki returns to Japan as Kaoru's tutor. Yet, Takaaki's serious and cool attitude is far from the childhood friend Kaoru remembers.
