Nijiiro Tougarashi

The story unfolds in a world that closely resembles Earth during the Edo period. However, Adachi, the mangaka, frequently emphasizes throughout the series that this setting is actually another planet in the distant future, which just happens to mirror Earth's appearance. After losing his mother, Shichimi embarks on a journey to join his step-siblings at Karakuri Tenement, a residence provided by their father, whom they have never met. He discovers that each sibling has a different mother, all of whom have passed away, but they share the same father.
