i dont really get the appeal of being 'self aware' anymore
its something thats done way too often
sure maybe the first time its haha thats kinda funny
but when everyone starts doing it and doing it lazily... when does the haha funny cuz self aware become cheap and cringey
tbh i felt a lot of that in the earlier parts of the first chapter
and when its stated that our boi's superior b/c he's the product of our passion towards baseball
sounds fine and dandy when you're not in an actual world where baseball is war and people are scooped up and taken as property of the victor
while i say this, i dont mind it all too much. i have gripes with people who try to make this seem like its greater than it actually is
giving undue credit
and as of chapter 3 i like the direction it seems to be going in
