Shuuichirou is a renowned songwriter and the father of Botan from a past failed marriage. Botan feels lonely and asks if she can have a cat. Shuuichirou says no, but Botan brings one home anyway—a very human-looking cat who is actually a man named Umekichi, someone Shuuichirou had an encounter with before!
