Yagami Haru works at an advertising agency. He admires his boss, Ryou, but finds it frustrating that Ryou is always very strict, never smiles, and constantly criticizes his work. Despite this, everyone else in the office seems to understand that Ryou actually holds Haru in high regard and is protective of him.
When Haru is assigned to negotiate with a new client, he meets their representative, Shibata, and feels an immediate attraction. This is because Shibata bears a striking resemblance, both in appearance and demeanor, to someone who rejected Haru 10 years ago. The two men begin seeing each other, but it appears Shibata might have hidden motives.
Meanwhile, Ryou is displeased to learn that Haru is dating someone. To make matters worse, he has just received troubling information about Shibata. What will unfold when Ryou confronts Haru?
