Miserarete

This manga centers on Kaoru, from the Nanbu family, and Kuzumi, a single father who had his son, Kouhei, at 17. They were once rivals in high school. Six years later, their paths cross again as they end up working for the same company. In the past, the Nanbu clan caused the downfall of numerous companies. This led to Akira, Kaoru's twin brother, leaving the family at age 15. Similarly, Kaoru's best friend Yuuma, whose father faced bankruptcy, was also forced to leave around the same time. Following these events, Kaoru concluded that he could not love anyone. Kaoru resigns himself to a life without love until an incident where Kuzumi molests him. What dark secrets does Kuzumi hide?
