I hate these kind of people who judge a series without even fully reading it.
Its probably good that you are dropping it because you don't even deserve to read this masterpiece
Congrats, you either split the bullet in half and somehow you don't have the two halves continuing towards you OR you hit the bullet on the side and somehow completely nullified it's force and did not send the bullet into a jagged spiral in your general direction and did not destroy the gentle and delicate edge of your sword. In either case you also manged to not completely destroy your bones with such a large portion of your body moving beyond the speed of sound and then immediately running into a position of rest without anywhere for that kinetic energy to go!
I get it, it looks cool and these tropes aren't meant to be looked at seriously. I just REALLY am not a fan of it, I can't be the only one.
