@Monty I see. Understandable since no matter how we twist it, poison IS pretty cowardly because strength levels won't really matter if the stronger person gets gradually weaker while the one who made them that way gets to laugh their ass off which is pretty damn annoying. I can't fully hate it though because there's a sense of realism to it even though this is supposed to be a fantasy story.

Full-blown fantasy settings tend to get boring after a while for me so a little bit of realistic ways to handle a fight is always welcome.

The Martial discipline they talk about actually existed. This should be an interesting primer on Nihon martial arts that dont generally get explanation or exploration publically. Kinda cool really.
