Hanamoto Mika is a shy and self-conscious 17-year-old girl who longs to love and be loved. Unhappy with her current self and hopelessly superstitious, Mika seeks guidance through fortune-telling and romance magazines. She decides to join a group date with her friends where she meets Takada. It's love at first sight—at least for her.
Soon after, they coincidentally meet on the subway, but Mika trips and falls at his feet, then flees in embarrassment before he can speak. They meet again on another group date, but to Mika's dismay, he doesn't remember her from the first date! However, he does recall her embarrassing moment on the train. He apologizes for not remembering her and explains that he had lost his contacts and couldn't see clearly during the first date.
Encouraged by his honesty, Mika surprises both him and herself by asking him out on a date! This is the story of unlikely relationships and the challenges that await Mika and Takada—and their friends—as they navigate their search for love.
