Abandoned in a cabbage patch as an infant, Misty-Rain is rescued from certain death by a witch who raises her as her own. Far from human society, she grows up among the Dokebi, a magical race from Korean mythology. Among them, she finds happiness and contentment until one day she loses the trust of her guardian. This causes the enchantment that concealed her true identity to break. She is then cast out into the world of her birth and must find her place among her own kind.
