Lady Masquerade

From MangaArt: The fragmented memory becomes a masquerade. Everyone hides behind masks, performing the wildest acts without consequence. But life is not a masquerade. The main character is a girl who endures daily torment from what she inadvertently witnessed years ago. She experiences recurring flashbacks of a horrifying scene. It always begins with her as a little girl following a black kitten, which suddenly transforms into a panther. A woman welcomes the panther to join her and the rest of the panthers. Unaware of the little girl's presence, the group starts their sinister "fun." The girl is left horrified by the scene. She makes a noise, drawing their attention. "Hunt her down! Kill her!" the woman commands the panthers. She manages to escape the pack, but they find her parents. In her flashbacks, her parents are chased and fall off a cliff. Authorities told her it was a car accident. She has lived on the edge of illusion and reality until she sees the woman's photo in a magazine. A photo is all she needs to confirm her flashbacks. Now, she is ready to seek retribution.
