I think this might be an oversight in the translation. They kept saying he has "0 Magic", like that, with the numeral, so I wonder if the raws had it like that, meaning he has a 0 in the MA stat. So when they talk about "Physics" here they're probably talking about a PHY stat, like, P&P Dungeons and Dragons type stats. Physics as in Physicality. Body control.
