Taiko, along with her friends Haruka and Someko, are the sole members of their high school's "tea club." One evening, as they sip tea under the moonlight, two tiny princes named Assam and Earl Grey appear from their teacups. The princes cannot return to their Tea Kingdom until Taiko and Haruka each make three wishes. However, both girls hesitate to wish without careful thought, causing the Tea Princes to linger in the human world for some time. Various comedic situations unfold, revealing more about the princes' history, leading to a storyline filled with enough drama to choke a teakettle.
