Well if you go back to the beginning of the story the sorcerors were there all the time as the fog in Atropatene was created by them magically and hence it was why Andragoras lost and the Lusitanian invasion took place.Zahak was a main threat of the second part of the novels the manga is adapted from .This arc is trying tie up the loose ends and will end probably at the first part with a different ending so that the second part of the novels is not needed I think.

I hear what you guys are saying.  I don't think anyone would take that suggestion seriously.  My personal opinion is that there was no growth and no missing context.  It's a reset unlike all previous resets.  Literally nothing previous happened.

Here's an issue, we don't get to see the resolve of Russian hero fight, and I feel the same is going to happen to the Roman hero as well. If it cuts to another fight without showing the end, then that means the author plans to showcase the abilities of every evil hero on the list till we reach the hero who can "turn back time". If that were to happen, then technically all what we're reading now may be non-canon. Cause remember, that dude like to cause despair to the main evil hero, so seeing his friends from the other world may shed a warm hope on the hero, something the turn back time hero doesn't want.
