"Katei no Jijou tells the story of a boy named Masoto, who lives with his mother and older sister. They share a very unusual relationship. With his father recently passing away, someone needs to take up the role of 'master' of the house over the older sister and mother. It falls to young Masoto to assume the role left open by his father's death, which he does with much enthusiasm and skill.
