Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu

A year ago, Takumi's young wife, Mio, passed away due to an illness. She left behind her husband, their six-year-old son Yuji, and a homemade picture book. The book described Mio traveling to a planet called Archive, where people who have passed away live as long as they are remembered, but it also mentioned she would return at the start of the next rainy season. To Takumi's astonishment, this prediction came true. However, the woman who returned, seemingly Mio, had lost her memory. According to the book, Mio could only stay for the duration of the rainy season. Since her death, Takumi had harbored doubts about whether Mio was truly happy with him, making him initially reluctant to get close to her again. As Takumi helps Mio recover her memories, they find themselves falling in love all over again. Yet, the mystery of how she managed to return remains unsolved. Takumi eventually discovers that the answer lies in both their past and future. "Be With You," originally titled "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu," was published in English by VIZ Media under the Shojo Beat imprint on February 19, 2008.
