This is incredibly good, my only criticism is the chapter's length. It's too short.

I just finished this in about three days. It started out very interestingly, and it kept getting better and better, but the ending felt so lackluster. It just felt like he was abusing a timestone and not having any consequences other than the fact that his friends forgot about him. But they didn't even forget because they all felt they had seen him before, and Jinwoo even brought back memories. Hopefully, Ragnarok is cool.

To add to that, a lot of silly scenes were added as I mentioned. Often rather than being funny, it feels it comes too abruptly, ruining the moment, but not really making it funny. Plus the fact the pace is faster, makes a lot of things feel incohesive. At times, be it because of the random "humour" or not, I had to read backwards to understand what the heck just happened.

In general I am a very lenient reader, which is why I did not mind keep reading, but I can't act like the problems are not there.

I don't think they scrapped it.  I think they wanted to introduce things through him to help reacquaint readers to the story considering it was a LONG break.
