After being abandoned by their parents, Kokoro Suzuhara and his blind sister Yume are taken into custody and brought to the isolated Hoozuki Island, which becomes their new home and school. However, they do not find a peaceful life there. Upon meeting other children on the island, Kokoro learns that they are all wary of their teachers, suspecting them of having gathered the children for a sinister purpose. Only after making several startling discoveries does Kokoro begin to believe in their suspicions. With Yume's safety as his top priority, Kokoro joins forces with his classmates to free themselves from their dangerous situation. Unbeknownst to them, their actions will unleash harrowing consequences for everyone involved.
