Hand's

The main character aspires to be a hero. However, his father, now a bum who squanders all their money on gambling, was once the star player of Japan's national handball team. Facing mounting debts and threats from the yakuza, the father approaches a coach, pleading for him to mentor his son. The coach sees immense potential in the boy and agrees, sending his daughter to fetch him. Daigo, the protagonist, then comes to live with them. (Source: Promfret)
