Gunhed

In 2038, a group of scavengers breaches an industrial complex on an island within a restricted zone. Their goal is to find Texmexium, a rare and highly valuable element. Most of the scavengers fall victim to the automated defenses, leaving only Brooklyn, the team's mechanic. He encounters a stranded Texas Air Ranger and two children surviving among the ruins of the complex. To escape and warn humanity, they must destroy the Kyron-5 computer. Brooklyn finds a GUNHED (Gun UNit Heavy Elimination Device) combat robot, remnants from a past mission to dismantle Kyron-5. He begins repairing it. Meanwhile, Babe, a deceased scavenger, has been reanimated as a bio-droid and is hunting Sergeant Nim for the Texmexium she possesses. To save her and thwart Kyron-5, Brooklyn must conquer his fear of flying and pilot the GUNHED to the top of the complex's tower. The primary defense of the computer is the robotic Aerobot.
