A giant demon bear named Akakabuto has taken control of Futago Pass. Soon after, a silver, tiger-striped Akita puppy named Gin is born and trained as a bear-dog. Gin is brought to Riki, the leader of a large pack of dogs and also Gin's father, to join the pack. After proving his strength, Riki allows him to join and sends out platoons across Japan to recruit strong males to fight against Akakabuto.
