I love this kind of slow pace slice of life. The conversation is full of emotion. Not like any manhwa. Maybe because Japanese is well known as an introvert. But overall, this is one good manga.

Glad to find out someone else saw the similarity between this and "The Boxer". I don't like sports comics at all, but those two are anything but, they're psychological/existential dramas masquerading as sports series.

As for how he'll end up, we have a clue at the beginning of chapter 4, when he's a young adult playing for a team called Kinko. It seems his mindset will only get more fixated on "playing with the team" rather than "winning". From the looks of it, he's going to wreck himself in a desperate quest to find a place he belongs in competitive baseball. Emotional roller coaster incoming…
