I got to like 8.1 chapter and it's too boring for me.

There really isn't that much character development. I have read to season 4 chapter 146. I think I am going to drop this, the author is a tad bit to nationalistic in my opinion but that isn't the main issue. The characters, why is Seonil so gae? The reasons behind his overly obsessive care for Jihan is barely explained. Why don't any of the love interests get character development? Shiyeon is the one with the most screen time but she has barely changed since the beginning of the series. The character relationships don't really go anywhere either. They introduced a lot of characters but never really developed any of them so I believe this to be a failure. I don't know why I read this far. I probably just thought it would be a waste to drop it since I was already reading it.
