The AD Police represent an elite unit of highly trained and specially equipped officers, established to handle terrorist activities and Boomer robot crimes in Megatokyo. They possess heavier armaments and equipment, such as K-11 and K-12 power armors, than a typical police force but are not as heavily armed as a military unit.
The AD Police operate with considerable autonomy, frequently cordoning off large areas of the city and causing significant property damage while carrying out their duties. Despite their commitment, the citizens of Megatokyo generally view the AD Police with distrust and disdain, perceiving them as corrupt and ineffective.
