    but they clearly addressed what you mentioned in ch. 4? When he demonstrated the fire power, the guild clerk said that it was magic similar to that of a wizard so it doesn't necessarily prove that it came from a phantasma. They just don't have a frame of reference like a guild built entirely around tamers would have on his job. Also, being recognised as a tamer seems to be an important aspect for the MC so I don't really find the initial premise all that stupid
