This is a lot weirder than the summary makes it out to be, also there are many sexual assaults ridden in this and it's disgustingly brushed off. I have only read a few chapters and I just cannot continue.

Makoto needs to actually take his own steps, because mostly all his plot points are just out of his control. Tomoe joins him. Why? Because she wants to, not because he convinced her, or made a deal with her or anything like that. Mio joins him. Why? Not because he beat her or brought her back to sanity, but because he tasted nice. He gets a separate realm. Doesn't learn anything about it himself, just tells Tomoe to find shit out. He becomes a merchant. Why? Because he can't sell his shit as an adventurer. You get the point. Fortunately, he's made the decision now to join the magic academy or whatever, and get stronger, which gives me hope, but I don't want to bring my expectations too high.
