A tool, for traveling, hunting, fishing, and a true armament for war, meant to be used alongside others so armed for defense and for offense. Swords are flashy things for self defense at their lowest in societal caste and useless status objects at their highest. Romantic ideals of knights and samurai will never win against the poetic truth of the spear and shield. And thats why I will never forgive Todd Howard for taking them out of the the elder scrolls games

I give it 9/10 for sounding smart and having Plot twists. But the slow build up is a little taxing

I take back what I said, I stopped reading the updates for a while and just finished rereading it and I rlly liked it all the way through tho I was ticked off that alchemist was changed to wizard/sorcerer and mage to magus and slept beggy to slay vega when it switched to unofficial translations but a part from that they were very well made. The latest chapters are quite good

What was the point for adventure guild to give some gold card for the  MC and it was never mentioned again or anything to do with the adventurer guild on the matter.
