Yutarou is a young boy who inherited a vast fortune from his parents, who passed away when he was still a child. He resides in an opulent mansion on a hill, where he is attended to daily by servants. Dr. Genzai's sister, who bears a striking resemblance to her brother, works for Yutarou.
Desiring to learn swordsmanship like his father, who was renowned for his fighting skills, Yutarou becomes intrigued when he sees Kenshin with a sword. He asks Kenshin to teach him, but Kenshin declines. This rejection angers Yutarou, causing him to speak ill of Kenshin.
Over time, Yutarou encounters Raijuuta, a man known for his formidable sword techniques. Impressed, Yutarou requests that Raijuuta teach him how to wield a sword.
