The underground kingpin of Cromartie High's 1st year class. (What does "underground kingpin" even mean?) Takenouchi loves to travel but despises being in vehicles. His strength is such that it makes his long-standing rivals at Bass High School tremble; in terms of respect, he stands unmatched. If only he didn't suffer from motion sickness so easily, he would have made an ideal main character. This single flaw is most unfortunate. Takenouchi has developed a fear of Kamiyama because whenever they are together, he ends up in some unpleasant situation. Takenouchi sports a cute, shaved head. His grandeur, which far surpasses that of a typical 16-year-old, has garnered him many female fans. (Seriously!) His motto is "Stick with your New Year's resolutions."
