Yut-Lung, "The Moon that Governs the Darkness," is the youngest of the seven Lee brothers. His presence is a closely kept secret—the Lee family is known to have only six sons. Yut-Lung lives under the alias "Yau-Si" and initially poses as Alexis Dawson's prodigious adopted son before transforming into an exquisite prostitute for Papa Dino.
Without question, Yut-Lung stands out as the most cunningly intelligent and ruthlessly manipulative character in the story. He exploits people’s emotions, controlling them like marionettes on strings. As an assassin, he doesn’t need to hide in the shadows; he moves freely in broad daylight, and few ever suspect his true nature until it’s too late. Using his remarkable beauty and intellectual allure, he lures his victims into lowering their defenses.
His loyalty remains solely with his elder brothers. However, despite his submissive demeanor around them and adherence to their commands, Yut-Lung harbors a profound, festering resentment towards them, particularly his eldest brother, Daai Yan-Lee. Not only does Lee treat him more like a beautiful object or a loyal dog rather than a person, but Yut-Lung also believes Lee was responsible for their mother's murder. Secretly, Yut-Lung plans to exact vengeance for his mother’s death one day.
Though Yut-Lung considers sentimentality "worse than useless," the persistent prodding of Sin Su Rin gradually awakens his dormant sense of honor. If nothing else, Yut-Lung is clearly weary of being used as a pawn by his older siblings. Perhaps the groundwork is being laid for his ultimate rebellion against the Lee family?
