Yukako is a student deeply in love with Koichi Hirose. Initially, she was quite aggressive in expressing her affections, jealously confronting anyone she perceived as a potential rival. She even went to the extreme of kidnapping him and threatening his life if he did not reciprocate her feelings or appreciate her efforts to "improve him" – based on false rumors that he was unbearable. These false rumors were spread by Josuke and Okuyasu in an attempt to help Koichi distance himself from her; however, their actions had the opposite effect. Later in the story, Yukako, still infatuated, seemed to have learned from her mistake of trying to force Koichi's affection. Disheartened by her unrequited love, she sought the services of Aya Tsuji's beauty-enhancing Cinderella stand, which made her appear irresistibly attractive to Koichi—for a price and within a time limit. During this period, she had to use a special lipstick to maintain the "magic" or the stand's power.
