Yue is a fictional character from Clamp's anime and manga series, Cardcaptor Sakura. He is voiced by Megumi Ogata in the original Japanese version. In English, he is voiced by Sam Vincent, and in the second movie, by Steve Staley.
Yue serves as one of the two Guardians of the Clow Cards. His role is to test candidates aspiring to become the next Master of the Clow. Yue appears as a strikingly beautiful young man, though he is actually over 300 years old. He has long, silver braided hair and violet (depicted as alice blue in the anime) cat-like eyes. Additionally, he possesses a pair of angelic wings that enable him to fly.
Yue has dominion over wind and water, elements that partly draw on his essence for their existence. He is a formidable fighter capable of creating powerful magical barriers, launching deadly crystal shards at opponents, summoning energy around his hands that can cut like blades, shooting energy arrows from a summoned energy bow, and performing other magical attacks such as telekinesis.
He often comes across as cold and aloof, serious and intimidating. Yue makes his first appearance when Sakura, the titular Cardcaptor, captures the final Clow Card, The Earthy.
