Yomi Kyoubashi is the daughter of a local gardener who runs a gardening center. She shares a friendly relationship with Hayate, as they are around the same age. Hayate frequently purchases fertilizer from her father's shop for use at the Sanzenin Mansion. Yomi dedicates her holidays to assisting her family's business and has accumulated extensive knowledge about gardening. Observing the amicable conversations between Yomi and Hayate, Nagi becomes envious of the "younger, diligent gardener girl."
