In ancient times, the Horumon Clan was more powerful than the Kinniku Clan, but a war with the Kinniku led to its decline. Horumon Yaki has repeatedly challenged and lost to Mayumi Kinniku numerous times, and his wife Harami was killed by the Kinniku Clan. Seeking vengeance on the Kinniku Clan, he sends his daughter Bibinba and Shishkeba Boo of the Barbecue Clan as assassins, but both attempts fail. He reconciled after Bibinba married into the Kinniku Clan. Although he appeared as a destitute villain with a shaved head in earlier times, he is later shown wearing a mask like most inhabitants of Planet Kinniku, reflecting his status as Kinnikuman's in-law.
