Meat is a member of Planet Kinniku's Churrasco Tribe. He was entrusted by his father, Mince, to Mayumi Kinniku of the Kinniku tribe for the greater good of the planet. Meat is then sent to Earth with the mission to retrieve the long-lost prince Suguru Kinniku, known as Kinnikuman or Suguru Muscle in Ultimate Muscle. He wears glasses and has the hiragana characters Niku (にく, meaning Meat) on his forehead. Despite being from the Churrasco Tribe, he bears the Kinniku Clan's KIN Mark on his chest, which resembles the old JIS Mark 〄. Meat serves as Kinnikuman's eyes and personal assistant. In the early days, he and Kinnikuman frequently quarrel, often due to Kinnikuman's cowardice and/or laziness. They also compete for Mari Nikaidou's affection. Meat has two older sisters: Medium Rare, who is beautiful, and Kalbi Liver, who is fat and considered ugly. His glasses are his weakness; whenever they break, he ceases to function. Additionally, when he presses his temple, a bright light shines from the Niku characters on his forehead. In Kinnikuman Nisei, Meat cryogenically froze himself to maintain his appearance and continue serving Kinnikuman’s son, Mantaro Muscle (Mantaro Kinniku). He refers to Kinnikuman as Ouji (王子, Prince) or Ouji-sama (王子様) in earlier chapters, and calls Mantaro Nisei (II世, Second) or Junior in the English manga. After Meat and Mari Nikaidou's reunion, many fans consider them to be a couple, though this remains to be confirmed.
