Wolfman is a Japanese Sumo Choujin who once held the title of Choujin Sumo Yokozuna, but later transitioned to Choujin Wrestling. He trains his muscles rigorously and boasts of his Beautiful Muscles of Steel, which surpass even Kinnikuman's. Initially, he despises Kinnikuman, calling him Flabbyman, but after losing to him in a Sumo match, he begins to respect Kinnikuman's abilities. From then on, he appears as an Idol Choujin and fights against the Akuma Choujin. Throughout the series, Wolfman often faces rather ordinary opponents in one-sided matches, such as during the 21st Choujin Olympics final preliminary and his fight with Springman. He frequently plays the role of a cannon fodder Seigi Choujin, being quickly and easily defeated to showcase the power of the villains. This happens three times in the series, where he dies and returns to life. Despite this treatment, Wolfman's expertise in Japan's national sport of Sumo has earned him a significant fan base. Wolfman was modeled after the popular rikishi Chiyonofuji Mitsugu, with "Wolf" being Chiyonofuji's nickname. In the anime, he is renamed Rikishiman (Real Name: Rikio) and uses phrases like "Dosuko~i!" and "Gottan desu!", embodying a more typical Sumo character.
