A Youkai that makes her home on a tree along a path Natsume used to walk to and from school during his elementary years. Every time Natsume approaches the tree, she suddenly leaps off and startles him, finding great amusement in his irritation.
She is typically seen alone and harbors a disdain for humans, often criticizing them as rude, selfish, and overly complex. She frequently tries to frighten passersby near her tree, but since no one can see her, these attempts are futile. She becomes quite angry if anyone damages her tree and will do her best to chase them away.
She also has the ability to transform into a black and white cat, a form visible to humans.
