zoback tomas

Tomas Zobak was Franz Bonaparta's former editor during the time Bonaparta wrote picture books for the Moravian Publishing Company. After gaining recognition for some of his notable works, Franz proposed a story about a "monster falling in love," blending elements from "Beauty and the Beast" and "Sleeping Beauty." For reasons unknown, Zobak rejected this manuscript. This story might have been inspired by Franz's personal experiences and his relationship with Viera, as hinted by titles that align with Franz's biography, though its full narrative remains undisclosed in the series. During their final meeting, Franz asked Zobak if they could collaborate on a story about a door that must never be opened. Zobak questioned whether paradise or another monster lay behind it, to which Franz replied that no one would ever know because the door should remain closed. This encounter marked their last interaction, possibly leaving Franz with lingering resentment due to Zobak's disinterest in the "monster falling in love" story. According to Zobak, this meeting occurred either in the summer of '81 or '82. Zobak had a deep understanding of Franz, knowing he worked for the government and noting his distinctive mannerisms, attire, and professional expertise, including his roles as a psychiatrist, psychologist, and neurosurgeon. Zobak’s daughter once mentioned that Franz was quite intimidating, although the reason behind this perception is unclear. Kenzo Tenma visited Zobak to gather information about Bonaparta. Recognizing Tenma from a newspaper article, Zobak alerted the police after Tenma left his house. (Source: Monster Wiki)
