Tirawit Koukin is a member of Yomi, specializing in Muay Boran, and the disciple of Agaard Jum Sai. His nickname, Narasimha, means "Lion God King." Tirawit is Thai with dark skin and tribal tattoos on his face. He also has blonde hair and distinctive eyes with black sclera and red irises.
Koukin is often depicted wearing a formal suit. He is notably handsome, attracting the admiration of many high school girls who stare at him as he walks by. He shares several traits with Tanimoto Natsu, including hairstyle, hair color, body build, and even a cold, rational personality.
Koukin is a composed individual who prefers to plan ahead. He is highly intelligent, capable of making accurate analyses of people quickly. This calm demeanor seems to be his natural state, even during training, which surprised his master when Koukin fought with anger because Agaard presumably tied with Apachai.
Koukin excels at psychological warfare, easily manipulating Kenichi into fighting recklessly against him. His calm and calculating nature places him among the strongest members of Yomi and makes him a formidable fighter, keeping Kenichi on the defensive throughout most of their first battle.
He has demonstrated exceptional teaching skills, successfully instructing an entire karate club in Muay Boran techniques with enough intensity to catch Kenichi off guard, though he only taught them offensive moves. This likely stems from his experience under Agaard's tutelage.
It is revealed that Koukin is a Sei-type fighter trained to "attack his enemy's attacks" rather than merely defending against them. Consequently, his ability to counter opponents' moves is extremely high, allowing him to counter Kenichi's Korui Nuki while being hit, redirecting some of the attack's power back to Kenichi, and calmly standing up after being launched.
