furuhata takeshi
Takeshi Furuhata is a debtor and former coworker of Kaiji. One year before the inaugural tournament on Espoir, he persuaded Kaiji to cosign a loan for him, thereby making Kaiji responsible if Furuhata failed to repay it. Though thought to have vanished, Kaiji finds him on Espoir and forms an alliance with him following Funai's betrayal.
